Community Conservationists Film Screening

Community Conservationists Film Screening

Come and see our Community Conservationists film series in full at the boutique Star Cinema in Bendigo on Thursday 15th November. Paired with talks by some of the featured groups, the screening follows a highly successful premiere in Melbourne earlier this year. Bendigo locals should be pleased to see Mount Alexander group, Connecting Country, on the bill. Hindmarsh Landcare Network, Friends of Bats and Bushcare, and Friends of Brisbane Ranges will also be there to speak about the fantastic work they’re doing for wildlife, landcare and local Victorian communities.

Remember The Wild’s Community Conservationists initiative is about celebrating the tree planters, wildlife carers, citizen scientists and anyone else who is putting in the hard yards for the good of the community and the environment. By sharing their stories, we hope to better connect people with nature and conservation issues, as well as help these groups attract more support from our community. The Community Conservationists film series was produced with the support of the Wettenhall Environment Trust.

The screening will commence at 7pm on Thursday 15th November. Please find location details here.

Bookings can be made by calling Star Cinema directly on (03) 5446 2025 and payment can be made on the night. Tickets are $20 with proceeds going towards supporting our Community Conservationists and the great work that they do protecting our natural environment.
