Remember The Wild is proud to launch the Penelope Greenslade Award.

The inaugural recipient will receive $3,000 AUD and have a video of their research produced by Remember The Wild.

About Penelope Greenslade

Dr Penelope Greenslade is an Honorary Research Fellow at Federation University Australia and renowned expert on springtails known by scientists as Collembola. She has played a part in identifying ~50% of our known species. She has faced discrimination as a woman in science. Much of Penelope’s research has been off her own back. Eligibility

The Award is open to early career biological science researchers who identify as female.

How will this award be administered?

Applicants will apply online. They will be asked to describe their research, career aspirations, and any barriers they have faced or are facing. Winner will be chosen by a selection committee.
